Works by several Turkish artists will be displayed at the 16th Sofa Chicago 2009 Sculpture Objects & Functional Art Fair.

The fair will take place at Chicago Navy Pier on Nov. 6 and 8.

Emel Vardar, Ebru Yılmaz, Ebru Döşekçi and Süleyman Saim Tekcan, representatives of Turkish contemporary art, will take part in the fair with the support of the Turkish Cultural Foundation and the Turkish Foreign Affairs Ministry.

The fair will present masterworks from top international galleries and dealers from New York, London, Argentina, Australia, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Israel and Italy. The Chicago fair will also feature special exhibits by renowned museums, universities and arts organizations, as well an extensive lecture series.
